How hot is it?

It is so hot, the tires on my car are melting!

It is so hot, hell looks good!

It is so hot, the birds stopped singing.

It is so hot, Sheba stopped pooping.

It is so hot, I can't think of anything else to write about!

But...tonight it is supposed to rain and tomorrow will be ONLY 86 degrees.

So I ask you, How Hot Is It?  Leave me a comment or three...I'd love to hear from you and how you are faring in this heat wave.

Until then, it is so hot my windows are crying.

It's so hot, our pond boiled away!

Actually, we aren't getting the hot weather that much of the country is getting--not today, anyway. It's supposed to get hotter later in the week. Today is perfect.

Hope things cool off for you soon!

It's been in the 90's for several days but today it has only made it to 88 so far.  I like it hot but I don't like high humidity with it.  I think I'm the only one that has been sitting on my porch (in the shade) during this heat wave.  It feels good to these old bones...lol.

don't shoot me, but its not hot here in Southern California; it is 1:30 p.m. our time and the weather outside is 89 degrees with a mild breeze; very pleasant and it won't heat up too much this afternoon if at all and this morning it was sooo cold I had to take a jacket when I walked Koda

hope you get some respite from the heat soon

Karen, Each morning, as I'm getting dressed for school, I keep an ear out for the weatherman's report. It's been so hot lately, and I've been running out of short sleeves, or sleeveless tops to wear. I don't like wearing t-shirts or even crew neck shirts because we have a school rule that all shirts like that have to be tucked in (for teachers and students). The rule keeps the baggy clothes look out. I'd say our school has eradicated the baggy look nearly 100%, even though gang influence is always just beyond our school doors. So I don't wear tops that need to be tucked in, and I'm running out of things to wear that will help me stay cool. I have an air conditioner in my classroom, which makes my room feel like a refrigerator when it is on, and the minute it cuts off, my room is stuffy and hot. So I'm going to say  (because I'm the art teacher):

It's so hot, my crayons are melting!!

It's so hot, I can heat my can of tomato soup without putting it in the microwave!

It's so hot, my coffee stays deliciously the right temperature... hot!

It's so hot, my hot flashes cool me off!

How's that?

LOL! Have a good week.
